在“地球”這件藝術作品中，SpY展示了一個被嵌入在立方體結構中的紅色發(fā)光球體，外層框架是用建筑工地上常見的腳手架建造而成。一眼望去，紅色球體所展現(xiàn)的現(xiàn)代藝術是科隆廣場典雅的宮廷氛圍的視覺張力延續(xù)。

In “Tierra”, SpY presents an artistic project made up of a luminous red sphere caged inside a cube-shaped structure, constructed with the the type of scaffolding normally used on 

building sites. From people's point of view, the modern art represented by the red sphere extends the visual tension of the elegant palace atmosphere in the Plaza de Colón.

這兩個簡單的幾何元素(球體和立方體)組成一個近25米高的大型建筑，安裝在馬德里的科隆廣場上。這種強烈的視覺表達經(jīng)由球體發(fā)出的明亮紅光，讓人們幾乎可以感覺到作品理念所要傳達的巨大熱量。在歐洲，哥倫布精神代表著探索與希望，紅色球體代表著生命與陽光，二者合一代表了生存與生活。

These 2 simple geometric elements (sphere and cube) form a large-scale construction which stands almost 25 metres high and has been installed in Plaza de Colón in Madrid. This powerful visual statement is accompanied by a bright red light emanating from inside the sphere, from which one can almost feel the heat transmitted by the concept of the work. In Europe, the Columbia spirit represents exploration and hope, while the red sphere represents life and sunshine, and the combination of the two represents survival and life.

在這件作品中，SpY讓我們反思我們的家園是如何自成一體，我們也是其中的一部分，一切都是相互關聯(lián)的，如同一個生命體。氣候狀況不斷變化，地球也一直不斷地進化。然而，由于人類活動的影響，這些變化發(fā)生在很短的時間內，令人十分擔憂。

In this work, SpY asks us to reflect on the way in which our home makes up a whole of which we form part, and in which everything is connected as if it were a living creature. There have always 

been changing climate conditions and the Earth has always been constantly evolving. However, as a consequence of human activity, these changes are happening over a very short period of time and have resulted in worrying alterations.

不幸的是，這種迅速的變化可能造成不可逆轉的影響。我們需要一套視覺系統(tǒng)來提升集體意識，從而提出有助于扭轉現(xiàn)狀的對話與行動。我們面臨的挑戰(zhàn)是人人都應以微小的行動來改變，并為我們應共同承擔的責任作出貢獻。

Unfortunately, this rapid change has created an impact which could become irreversible. We need to propose dialogue and actions that will contribute to improved collective awareness through a value system which can turn this situation around. The challenge we all face is to take small individual steps to improve and contribute to our sense of shared responsibility.

Through this artistic offering, SpY invites the audience to reflect and enjoy this urban installation, where visitors will be surprised by the scale and the contrasting light set against the city background.
